Hopefully now I can quit fighting with CMS’s and start producing content for this (and my other) website(s)!
Downside for you, is that now you have to start dealing with my ramblings again!
I finally got Node.js installed on my VPS account which uses WHM/CPanel. And my web hosting company confirmed what I have been fearing over the past few years: I need to kick the training wheels off! That is, I need to ditch WHM/CPanel and go to self-managed.
I do not recall this being a problem with my previous web host. With the new one, I get emails every so often that CPanel updates have run. And then low and behold, the modifications that I have made to my server, stop working and my websites are broken!
What is the point of root access if my changes keep getting overwritten?!?
